Cyberlaw dictionary is an alphabetical reference guide to technical and legal terms related to the Internet. The site you are now browsing contains over 500 definitions of words drawn from Standard Internet English including technical terms and their meanings. Our aim is to explain basic technical jargon of cyberspace to those who are not familiar with its jargon. Internet Dumping
Internet Dumping occurs when a user’s modem is disconnected from their usual dial-up number and reconnected to an international (0011) or premium rate phone number, such as 190 numbers [without their knowledge]. Most commonly it occurs on adult sites. In many cases people are not aware that they have been dumped until they receive an unusually high phone bill.
